Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Capital Management

This program prepares graduates to apply for Bellevue University's unique Ph.D. in Human Capital Management

The Human Capital Management concentration examines theory and applications related to an organization’s intangible investments in people.

The “war for talent” has caused many organizations to focus on developing their human capital from within. This concentration will focus on how to do that, and how to measure results. Students will get an overview of the human capital management field, followed by a detailed look at adult learning principles, and how these principles can be harnessed to fully develop talent within the organization.

Topic areas include adult learning principles, advanced statistical methods, and conducting field research inside an organization. The topics include the study of specific quantitative and qualitative theories and methods used to collect reliable and valid data for decision making purposes.

The curriculum includes:

  • Human Capital Management
  • Principles of Adult Learning and Training
  • Measurement and Evaluation of Human Capital
